Heath met Pam during a production of guys and dolls. Heath was an actor/dancer and Pam the stage director. He was smitten immediately, but Pam was required to be very strict and tough if she was to keep this show moving in the right direction. There would be no teasing or talking out of line... but Pam was smitten too. And so, Heath was allowed to talk to Pam out of turn, maybe even flirt a little.

Now these two have taken their show on the road. They're living in Calgary, getting married in Saskatoon, and a couple of weeks ago, travelled to Prince Albert for their engagement session. We started at their old stompin' ground, The EA Rawlinson Centre;

For a little more drama, we moved onto an abandoned TV graveyard.

Sarah & Fiona :: Daughter and Mother

For Mother's day this year, Sarah arranged a Mother / Daughter session for her and her Mom. It's about time too. The last time these two had professional pictures together, Sarah was is grade four. I hope you two decide to make this a yearly tradition!

Fiona was a great sport about having her picture taken, but mostly she just wanted to watch Sarah have hers taken.

I have so many more images from this session that I just love. Be sure to watch for another post of these two gorgeous women!

Kiara :: Baby Vampire

Kiara is such a funny baby. She was so interested in what I was doing but would not smile. Now, I'm usually not one for forced smiles but we tried every trick in the book with her... to no avail.

That was until she got to se the pictures of her self. She liked to look at the back of the camera and see herself, then she was all vampire smiles with her two new teeth. I wish she would have let us get some of those smiles on camera. This was the best we got;

Hair and Make-up by Nelly

My very good friend, Janelle, has just opened a small hair studio in her home and does amazing work. She will also be doing hair and make up for the studio.

To celebrate her new venture and my new venture Janelle gathered some beautiful women did their hair and make up and we took pictures and drank wine. It was a fabulous evening!!

Finally In The Studio!!

We're moved into the new studio but still waiting on about half of our furniture to arrive. We won't have regular hours until the end of June. That's about when we hope to have everything here and ready to go. You can find Devin and I at the studio on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4-6pm and on Thursdays from 4-8pm.

We are taking appointments in the studio now so if you'd like to book give us a call or come down and check things out.

On Saturday Devin and I celebrated at the studio and hooked up the remote system for the camera to take a few pics of ourselves in our new diggs;

Then on Sunday, Mother's Day, Mom and I got a few shots together;

I have so many things to blog. Hopefully I'll find some time to get all caught up in the next little while.
